 **エスニック料理とは**

 

エスニック（ethnic）とは「民族的な」「異国感のある」ことをあらわす形容詞です。エスニック料理といえば、いわゆるイタリアン・フレンチ・中華といった定番のジャンルでない、料理を指します。

日本人が使うエスニック料理とは、タイ料理やベトナム料理といった、アジアの中でも東南アジアに地域が絞られることが多いですね。

エスニック料理は、家庭で本格的に再現するのが難しい料理です。
